Characteristics
The aim behind extending Line C of the Prague Metro between the Ládví and Letňany stations was to improve transport services in the north-eastern part of Prague for both the inhabitants of the capital and visitors from Central and North Bohemia. This was also complemented by a two-storey P+R car park with a capacity of 702 parking spaces and a large bus terminal near the Letňany station.
Exceptionality of the structure
Replacement of excavated and mined tunnels, excavations were carried out using the NRTM method. All three stations - Střížkov, Prosek and Letňany are demolished. The architectonically most interesting is the Střížkov station with two side platforms. It consists of an open hall with a glass steel structure.
