Characteristics
A chamber lock object including the upper and lower dock on the right bank of the Vltava River near the České Vrbné weir, river km 233.10. It is a part of the České Budějovice – Hluboká nad Vltavou waterway. The structure consists of a chamber lock, upper and lower dock, a control room, vehicular surfaces, fencing of the premises, the technology of the chamber lock, the control system and heavy and light current electrical wiring.
Exceptionality of the structure
Together with the electrical wiring, a control system was built, the centre of which is a PLC computer located in the control room, which manages and coordinates individual subsystems according to the current flow. Together, it controls the chamber lock, the weir flaps and the sport channel closure gate.
