Uniqueness of construction project
An interesting element of the reconstruction of Pluhov Palace was the hidden placement of modern technologies in the attic, the preservation of the original windows and doors and historical plasterwork and the use of traditional working methods. At one time, due to the icy steep access road, the material had to be transported to the site by a tracked mini-dumper. A major challenge was the dismantling, treatment and reassembly of the original wooden ceilings, which had been affected by dry rot.
