This construction of a neutralization and decontamination station consisted of the construction of a total of 16 objects of a complex of buildings with a remediation technology for the elimination of the consequences of chemical extraction of uranium. The NDS 10 station technologically follows the phase of treatment of mother liquors with the technology of neutralization and alkalization of solutions with lime milk, followed by the removal of ammonia by water vapour.

The neutralization hall itself is a purely technological object. The architectural and art solution is influenced by the surrounding newly-built objects in the complex and it results from the requirements and functions of the new technological objects.

Putting this technology into operation will increase the total disposal capacity of contaminates from underground to more than 100,000 t per year. The entire complex of technologies is forecast to enter operation approximately by 2035. Without this construction, the process of remediation of the rock environment is estimated to take 70 years longer.
